"Jang
Chul-soo,
your
face
is
the
only
thing
I
can
remember,
so I
don’t
have
anything
else
to
hold
except
you.
So
until
I
remember
who
I am
and
regain
my
memory,
don’t
abandon
me."
~
Jo
Anna
(Na
Sang-shil)
Jo
Anna,
though
young
and
rich,
is
selfish,
inconsiderate,
and
hard
to
deal
with.
After
arriving
to
Korea
with
no
escort
to
take
her
home,
Anna
drives
herself
in
the
pouring
rain
and
gets
stuck
in a
muddy
ditch.
Jang
Chul-soo,
who
is
passing
by,
stops
to
help
her
by
shoveling
the
mud
so
her
car
can
get
back
on
track.
As
Anna
waits
in
Chul-soo's
car,
she
notices
something
and
concludes
that
Chul-soo
is a
murderer.
In
an
attempt
to
escape
this
"murderer,"
Anna
takes
a
shovel
to
defend
herself
from
Chul-soo,
the
"killer".
After
a
bit
of
struggle,
Chul-soo
is
knocked
unconscious
by
Anna,
and
is
left
there
on
the
road
as
she
frantically
drives
away.
Of
course,
there
was
a
misunderstanding,
but
Anna,
being
an
elegant
rich-girl,
will
never
admit
it
and
thinks
that
the
two
will
never
meet
again.
Upon
arriving
at
her
destination,
Anna
is
merciless
to
her
resort
employees
and
her
wimpy
husband,
Billy
Park.
With
constant
ridicule
and
firing,
the
staff
is
upset
as
well
as
Billy,
who
would
just
love
to
be
free
of
his
wife's
criticisms.
Well,
their
wishes
come
true
after
a
serious
argument
between
her
and
Billy
that
causes
her
to
storm
out,
get
drunk,
and
fall
off
her
yacht.
Her
sudden
"death"
relieves
the
fears
of
the
employees
and
even
her
husband
(who's
now
rich)
at
the
resort,
however
can
such
a
"witch"
die
so
easily?
Getting
treated
for
almost
being
drowned
by a
"crazy
woman,"
Chul-soo
speaks
of
getting
revenge
on
the
woman
who
has
caused
him
great
grief
within
the
last
days.
To
his
surprise,
his
wish
can
come
true,
as
the
woman
is
also
a
patient
of
the
hospital,
suffering
from
amnesia;
this
woman,
being
Anna.
Taking
her
in
as
his
"lover,"
Na
Sang-shil,
Jang
Chul-soo
plans
to
take
revenge
by
making
her
work
her
butt
off
doing
household
chores
and
learning
some
manners.
Even
though,
Anna
had
absolutely
no
idea
of
what
her
past
was,
she
had
a
fuzzy
idea
that
she
wasn't
that
close
to
him.
While
Anna
stayed
in
Chul-soo's
house,
he
made
her
do
all
the
household
chores.
But
as a
rich
woman,
she
never
knew
about
any
job
and
makes
a
mess
on
every
household
duty
she
was
assigned
to.
However,
what
starts
out
as
revenge
becomes
much
more
than
Chul-soo
bargained
for.
Two
people
as
different
as
night
and
day,
who
would
never
even
cross
paths
under
normal
circumstances,
come
together
in
an
outrageous
situation
and
are
eventually
reborn
as a
fantastic
couple.
Once
two
persons
have
been
stroked
by
Cupid's
arrow
of
love,
there's
no
turning
back.
Love
was
nicely
played
out
when
Anna
develops
some
deep
feelings
for
Chul-soo.
Chul-soo
also
fell
for
her,
even
though
he
resisted
the
relentless
feelings
for
as
long
as
he
could.
After
Anna
regains
her
memory,
she
learned
that
wealth
is
meaningless
when
you
have
nobody
to
share
with.
She
recapture
some
of
the
memorable
times
she
shared
with
Chul-soo at
the
dilapidated
home
and
the
eateries
they
went
to.
Anna
learned
what
it
was
like
to
love
and
care
for
others.
See
whether
these
two
leads
from
different
levels
of
the
social
ladder
will
become
a
Couple
or
Trouble.
Han Ye-seul as Jo
Anna (Na Sang-shil)
A
Korean-American, Anna is the only child of real
estate mogul Richard Cho. Her parents died when
she was seven, leaving her with a massive
inheritance. She was raised by her aged
grandmother until the age of twelve. But then,
even her grandmother passed away and left her
without a soul to rely on. Now, Anna has her
husband Billy—but they have no children. Anna
grew up like a princess amid the sycophantic
adoration of all manner of relatives who lusted
after her enormous fortune. She matured in an
environment in which everyone welcomed and loved
not Anna herself but the trappings of her
wealth. Rather than looking to others, she chose
the path of infinite self-love and
self-aggrandizement. As a result, she became the
apotheosis of egotism and narcissism that she is
today. She neither heeds nor fears anything
under the sky. Those around her call her a
witch. She does not mince her words: there's
nothing she can't or won’t say. In short, she
has a poisonous tongue. Because she learned most
of her Korean from her grandmother, she speaks
with far more condescension and impertinence
than age might allow..
Oh Ji-ho as Jang
Chul-soo
Chul-soo lives with his
three nephews left behind by his late brother.
He is the owner of a small-time construction
company whose sign reads, 'General Construction,
Architecture, and Interior Design Co.' In his
own words, Chul-soo is a 'Construction site
multiplayer' who will take on any and every kind
of work if it means getting paid. He’s
excessively thick-skinned and completely hung up
on money, but he lives a resourceful life. He
might appear to have no pride at all, but when
his meal ticket—that is, any lucrative work he's
laid claim to—comes under the smallest threat,
he retaliates without mercy. He's obstinate,
tenacious, and determined. Sometimes he’s very
simple-minded, his greatest shortcoming is his
tendency to get worked up over nothing at all.
Kim Sung-min as
Billy Park
Billy
is Anna’s husband and the CEO of the massive
real estate enterprise that she inherited. His
main area of expertise is hotels and resorts.
Although he was born into an ordinary family, he
easily earned his MBA and law degree at Harvard
thanks to his astonishing intellect and has
since been riding the fast track to success. He
is a tremendously gifted entrepreneur, and a
boss who enjoys the trust of his subordinates.
He’s sensitive and considerate. Having enjoyed
unimpeded success, Billy can appear cold and
calculating. But inside, he’s surprisingly
subtle and emotional. For a man like Billy, a
woman like Anna—who respects nothing, fears
nothing, has not one iota of consideration for
others, and only demands unquestioning devotion
and dedication—is simply too hard to handle;
she’s enough to give him a heart attack..
Park Han-byul as
Oh Yoo-kyung
Beguiling
men with looks so fragile that she might blow
away on a wisp of wind, Yoo-kyung is a
representative example of the 'damsel in
distress' type that women despise. She appears
infinitely pure and innocent, but is in fact a
tough cookie who knows how to get what she
wants. She knows that Chul-soo has been in love
with her for a long time, but when he gets
saddled with his nephews following his brother’s
death, she turns her back on him as if oblivious
to his feelings for her. Still, after her
engagement to a man with the perfect credentials
gets broken off, she finds herself belatedly
being drawn to the simple-hearted Chul-soo and
regrets her past indifference.
I loved this drama, the lead actress was perfect for this role. and i loved the lead actor since his previous role in Second Proposal. the lead actress played both anna and sang-sil perfectly, she had the perfect looks for her role and good chemistry with both billy and jang chul-soo.
