"There are happy marriages and unhappy marriages. Some marriages with an unknown end, some with a known end. But our marriage is a marriage too. I fought with you everyday and packed my bags a few times. But I never thought this is the end. I'm never coming back. Let's do our best. Live with energetic power until the day that we really do part ways. Fighting until then." ~ Han Ji-eun

Han Ji-eun is an aspiring novelist. She is the original owner of a house called "Full House". One day, two of her friends, for money reasons, tricked her into an overseas trip. After coming back from a trip to China that her friends paid for, Ji-eun finds out that they did so only to sell her house while she was away. She finds that the new owner of the house is none other than famous actor Lee Young-jae, whom she happened to meet on her trip. Though both of them don't get along with each other, as she is chaotic and he has a bad temper and an affection for cleaning, they agree to live with each other and Ji-eun works as his maid in order to buy her house back. Out of a misunderstanding and Young-jae's ill-fated try to make the love of his life, Kang Hye-won jealous, he marries Ji-eun. They set up a contract for the marriage, making them appear as a couple to the public. Under the terms of the contract, they will be married for 6 months while Ji-eun does all the housework. After 6 months, she will get the house back. During that time, lots of complications ensue and Ji-eun finds herself falling for Young-jae and Young-jae's family, but he still loves his childhood friend, Hye-won. Young-jae's friend, Yoo Min-hyuk, also shows an interest in Ji-eun. With Young-jae's bad temper, and Min-hyuk, Ji-eun's handsome and friendly publisher start to create a rift between the couple, Young-jae and Ji-eun filed for divorce so that he can move away. After he moved away he realized after all he didn't want the divorce. When he returns, he found out that Ji-eun hasn't married yet and knows that he has fallen in love with her. He proposes to her, this time for the right reasons, and finally, they get married a second time and live happily ever after.

Song Hye-kyo as Han Ji-eun
Ji-eun is a cheerful, spirited and lively realist, who under no circumstances seems to be upset, but who is also very stubborn. She looks very sprightly on the surface, but deep inside she is easily hurt and introverted. She pretends to be smart and upbeat but in reality she is dull-witted and naïve. She becomes easily attached to things and people she likes, and at the most decisive moments she tends to become soft-hearted. While naïve and unsophisticated, she always speaks out when she considers something to be wrong, because she thinks that hiding things in your heart is foolish. Ji-eun is an Internet love story writer, whose nickname is “money-maker.” She also has a part-time job as she needs more money to maintain the "Full House". She is a cute personage who firmly believes that money is the only thing lonely people, like she, can trust.

Jung Ji-hoon (Bi-Rain) as Lee Young-jae
Young-jae is a top Korean actor. He does his utmost not to hurt other people and not to be hurt himself. Every movie he starred in became a blockbuster. He is stubborn when it comes to selecting which movies to star in, but he has received much acclaim for his talent. Although Young-jae always behaves and speaks as he wants, he does that only to protect himself from being hurt and not to hurt others. People think of him as a very candid person, but that is also Young-jae’s strategy to hide himself – or rather his failure to express himself to the fullest. As one who is unaccustomed to being frank and open, Young-jae is bad at making friends and very proud of his ideals and principles. He deeply loves his childhood friend, Hye-won, even though she shows him no affection. One day, he stumbles upon Ji-eun and slowly falls in love with her.

Han Eun-jung as Kang Hye-won
Kang Hye-won is a fashion designer, who designs Young-jae’s clothes. Hye-won has been friendly with Young-jae and Min-hyuk since childhood. Beautiful, accomplished and from a good family, she is every mans’ dream. She is very greedy when it comes to love. She has never been rejected by anybody, and only feels content when everybody around her loves her. At first, she liked Min-hyuk, until Min-hyuk rejected her, but later, after seeing Young-jae with another girl, she began to develop feelings for him.

Kim Sung-soo as Yoo Min-hyuk
Min-hyuk
is a director of a large media company. He dreams of establishing Asia’s Walt Disney or Fox. He is tenacious and smart, and respected and recognized for his skills. He is confident in earning trust from people. He has always been a winner, and is determined to remain one for the rest of his life. He possesses sophisticated manners and is very eloquent – a Prince Charming that any girl could dream of. Min-hyuk believes that life is too short to live it without fun. Unlike his seemingly unrestricted personality, he is very composed and prudent. He can’t stand losing and has a strong desire to win in everything, which probably explains his successful career. Hye-won loves him though he rejects her instantly saying that she’s like a sister to him. Known to be a player, he is changed when he meets Ji-eun and realizes that she is something special.

Didn’t have a chance to watch "Kim Sam Soon" but I heard it's definitely the runaway hit for the summer of 2005.

I don't like My Lovely Sam Soon. The only thing that keeps me going to watch that drama is because of Daniel Henney's charm and Ryu Won's crying ability. But I still gave up the drama in the 14th episode. That drama is ridicules. How come an overweight, rude, and vulgar woman can be chased by 3 young rich men? If the women is like an angel, I can understand it, but Sam Soon is definately not....
